INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Please read all guidance notes carefully before use.

Wherever possible always pull the ladder using both hands on the platform top tube.

The wheels will stay in contact with the ground until the platform is raised above head height.

Use the leg strap while moving between sites, release strap and secure the loose end before raising

the ladder.

Pick the step up from the platform end and raise until vertical. You should now be holding the ladder

by both the front legs, just below the leg tie bars.

To open the ladder you must walk backwards, holding the front legs only and at the same time move your

hands outwards until the ladder opens completely. This will take one/two steps.

Push all tie bars down until they lock, the ladder is now in its open state, to final position the step lift both front

legs off the ground say 6 inches and rotate or pull to required positions.

If the ground is uneven soft or stepped, check the ladder for a true and vertical attitude. Walk round the ladder

and check the platform is vertical. To adjust and level the terrain ladder depress the leg button rotate slightly

and pull to the next location hole, the button will automatically spring into its new location.

Re-check for vertical and then access accordingly. To close the ladder down reverse this process.

1. Ensure all three legs are fully opened and all three tie bars are in their locked position.

 

2. Adjust the length of each leg to level and set platform , check adjuster buttons are located correctly.

   Ensure that the Terrain ladder is vertical and in a true plain before access is made.

 

3. Use foot spikes supplied wherever possible to anchor the terrain ladder. Ensure these are hammered all of the way into the ground.

 

4. For slippery or smooth surfaces check the condition of the rubber foot pads prior to use.

 

5. Do not modify the terrain ladder or attempt to use it for anything other than its design purpose.

 

6. Do not exceed the recommended weight. 3m - 90kg / 16 stone - 1 person, 2.5m - 127kg / 20 stone - 1 person, 2m - 127kg / 20 stone - 1 person.

 

7. Do not attempt to carry excessive or unbalanced weights up the terrain ladder.

 

8. Do not use the terrain ladder step if under the influence of drugs, alcohol or if you suffer from vertigo or similar illnesses.

 

9. Keep children off the terrain ladder. For adult use only.

 

10. Never over reach.
